Our new B3 Range is a collection of small boxes to help solve issues we have come across during installs of all sizes.

B3-RL2-DC
Dual Channel serial controlled relay box with DC input

Dual Relay unit with DC input Jack

Dual Relay unit with DC input Jack

You ever had the experience of needing a couple more relays on a control system job? Well now you can easily add them using our new Serial controlled dual relay box. It has a 1 way serial input with a simple 9600 baud command protocol. The DC Power input can be run on voltages ranging from 9v to 30v DC. This allows it to be powered by a 24v output on a processor and have the serial input driven by a 1 way serial port – a simple way to add some extra ports !

LEDs show the status of the Power, Relays and when the unit receives data over the serial link.

B3-RL2-USB

So lets say you have a DigitalMediaâ„¢ system installed but you need some relays for screen control. You could opt to up-sell the client to a unit with relays for an extra xxx dollars, or add one of our USB powered serial controlled dual relay boxes. Designed to add two relays to a DM output box, it is powered via a USB connection which handily enough is fitted to all the DM output boxes. A simple 1 way serial from an IR port will drive the two relays.

LEDs show the status of the Power, Relays and when the unit receives data over the serial link.

B3-CMIC
2 Channel CISCO mic interface Box

PICTURE COMING SOON

If you have ever had to install a Cisco codec then you would know all about the supplied mics and their cable. Its super tinsel cable that is almost impossible to terminate. It also uses 4 pole mini jack connectors. This box allows you to simply extend the mic cabling without cutting or joining or doing anything else that may be an additional point of failure. It also means that if you have to swap the mics out for any reason its a simple unplug rather than a complete snip and start again.

The unit has 2x 4 pole minijack sockets connected to 2x 4 way mini Pheonix connectors. This gives any easy way to break out the wiring to a 4 core screened cable or even a CAT5 (not recommended however as that screened cable is screened for a reason !)

B3-CBO
CISCO camera serial breakout Box

PICTURE COMING SOON

Ideal for C series codecs with their crazy two serial port on the one port connectors.

Make your installers life easy by using a standard cat5 patchlead from this box to the camera and a simple three wire connection to access the codecs serial control port.

A captive 1m de9 cable means there is no possibility of miswiring at the codec end or putting 12v where it shouldn’t go.

Front panel LEDs show camera volts and serial data RX on the two ports allowing for simple debugging.

B3-CMIC-C – 2 Channel CISCO mic interface Box – Codec End

PICTURE COMING SOON

So now that you have you 2 lovely mic leads supplied by the above box, your going to need to get them into the codec somehow. This box makes it easy.

With 2 x 4 way mini pheonix plug inputs and 2 short 4 pole mini jack leads for the output this is an easy interface choice. The cables are 20cm long allowing the interface box to be place above or beside the codec. The plugs are colour coded and heatshrink labelled.

This allows your installers to install and terminate fully while the codec is on order.
